We're hiring a Head of Design to own those decisions at a genuinely pivotal moment: as Manychat becomes AI-native, Design is what determines whether intelligence feels clear, human, and trustworthy — or doesn't. You'll define the vision, lead a growing organization, and shape how AI shows up in a product that millions of people rely on. This is a senior leadership role with real influence across product direction, company strategy, and culture. • WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀
• Design vision and strategic leadership
• Define and own a clear, compelling design vision aligned with product strategy, Ensure Design meaningfully shapes product direction, not just execution, and is positioned as a driver of measurable product and business impact.
• Act as the senior design voice within the company, influencing priorities and decisions at the leadership level.
• Raise the bar for simplicity, clarity, and usability across a powerful, configurable product.
• Product experience and quality
• Own the end-to-end product experience across all customer-facing surfaces.
• Ensure experiences are intuitive, opinionated, and scalable as the platform grows.
• Balance long-term experience quality with near-term delivery and business needs.
• Design systems, research, and content
• Own and evolve a best-in-class design system that enables speed, consistency, and quality at scale.
• Strengthen user research capabilities and embed insight-driven decision-making across product teams.
• Oversee content design to ensure a clear, consistent product voice and tone.
• Ensure holistic collaboration across design, research, and content, avoiding siloed execution.
• AI-era design leadership
• Lead Design through the transition to AI-native product experiences, shaping how intelligence, automation, and guidance show up in the product.
• Define principles and patterns for AI-powered interactions that build trust, clarity, and user confidence.
• Evolve design workflows to leverage GenAI for faster prototyping, exploration, and iteration and rethink how designers collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Growth in an AI-first environment.
• Ensure AI augments human creativity and decision-making rather than obscuring intent or increasing complexity.
• Team and organization building
• Lead, inspire, and scale a global design organization of ~20 people, with plans to grow over time.
• Build a strong leadership bench across Design Managers, Staff, and Senior ICs.
• Develop designers beyond craft into trusted cross-functional partners and leaders.
• Create an environment where top design talent wants to join, grow, and stay.
• Navigate organizational change with clarity, confidence, and empathy.
• Cross-functional and brand partnership
• Build deep, trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Growth, Brand, and senior leadership.
• Ensure Design and Brand deliver a unified experience across marketing and product, with clear collaboration models that enable fast, high-quality decision-making.
• Maintain strong visibility and accessibility across the organization.

• You’ll need:
• Proven experience as a senior design leader in high-growth digital product companies.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling large, high-performing design organizations
• Deep expertise in product design, design systems, and user research
• Experience designing complex products that balance power and usability.
• Strong product intuition and business acumen, with the ability to connect design decisions to measurable outcomes.
• Experience designing or leading teams through AI-powered or AI-augmented product experiences, with strong judgment around usability, trust, and transparency.
• Track record of operating as a peer to Product, Engineering, and Growth leadership.
• Exceptional people leadership skills, including experience coaching managers and senior ICs.
• Strong executive presence, communication, and influence.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, evolving environments while maintaining high standards
